Happy Birthday Wendy!! For Wendy's Birthday her sisters bought her a photo shoot. Look how flip'n darling they all look. They wanted to do something downtown because they often take trips to big cities. What a great idea!!

Just getting to know you...

Today I took photos of this super rad guy I've met and his super darling daughter. Nicole turns 9 in 9 days and is planning a really fun party with her all her favorite gals. She's bought funky hats for all of them to wear and I'm going to take silly pictures of them together. Eric bought frames they can decorate. Isn't that the most fun party favor idea ever!!!

11 days is way too long!!

Can you believe it's been 11 days since my last post!! I apologize!! My computer was in the shop. This was a mini shoot I did this morning of my co-workers kids. Aren't they adorable!! I promise I'll have more to look at soon, no more waiting 11 days for new posts.

As you can see I tried that new texture trick I learned at the conference. I think it look rad!! I'm going to spend my free time this week searching for sweet textures. Wish me luck.

This was just a little mini shoot. We just did two poses in 20 minutes- Here are my 2 favs!! Fast, fun & way easy. They spent way more time getting ready than we did shooting. I love what they chose to wear, and I love shooting downtown!! This family is friends with my cousin Lindy. Thanks so much Lindy for the referral!!

SHOUT OUT FOR JODI FOR THIS GREAT REFERRAL. THANKS MILLIONS JOD. LOVES!!This was a way fun shoot. I had gone to a photography conference the night before so I had had sweet photography dreams all night. I tried out a few of the tricks that they taught us. Like how to use a wall as a good back drop. Look how cool those bricks look. Thanks Lizzer for going with me. So glad you're back in Utah!!

So, I tried a new technique that I learned about at the photography conference. I think I need a little more practice, but the textured look could be really cool!! yes?
