Here is our Christmas card this year. It's the first year I've ever done Christmas cards. Once I got the photos taken & the card designed I ran out of time to get them sent out, I mailed so few of them. So, I had to share it with all of you. I couldn't let this sweet little card go to waste.

2011 HOLIDAY CARDS!!

Below are my 2011 holiday card collection. This year I've added adorable boutique die cut cards. They are templates and CAN be TOTALLY customized. You may choose which pictures to drop into the template, you can add additional photos, you can change the COLORS. There is very little I can't customize to match your family images. Be as creative as you want, I can make it happen.

Here's what to think about when designing your card...

1. What shape would I like (boutique die cut or traditional 5x7)?

2. What design & colors would I like?

3. What images would I like?

4. What would greeting would I like?

My cards are NOT printed on photo paper, they are printed on Pearl archival paper. It's thick postcard paper and has a shimmery, pearl-like finish. It's the most amazing paper I could find in my long search for designer card perfection!!

You must be one of my clients,

and you must use images that I've taken.

They come in sets of 25. Meaning you can order 25, 50, 75, 100 etc. For example if you need 40 cards, you would need to order 50.

All cards are 2 sided, come with envelopes and are $2 each.

I can't believe she's a month old. I had every intention of posting photos the moment she was born, but wow it takes a lot of time loving this little sweetie. I am completely head over heals for her. Everyday I am overwhelmed with gratitude for this little angel baby.

I will be on maternity leave until the middle of Sept.

I will be teaching online & 1 on1 workshops during my maternity leave & will be returning to shooting middle of Sept. I will only be booking 3 sessions a week so be sure to email me right away if you'd like a fall session.

Impromptu Maternity Session

I was suppose to have my maternity pix taken last week, but it was rainy & I don't feel like I'm quite big enough. I want to really have a full on big bulbus baby bump when I have them taken. However, I needed an image for my shower invite (I couldn't imagine my shower invite with a photo on it). So, yesterday afternoon I was hanging with Sara planning the shower & we quickly took these image. Truly impromptu... no makeup, didn't wash me hair yesterday, that's my swimsuit cover up (slap a belt & jacket on it & it looks like a dress), we walked next to my condo complex where they've demolished a house & piled up lots of junk (just pointed the camera in the right direction & crop out the junk & it looks like a great location.) I'm tickled with the way they turned out. Goes to show with a great camera, some creative vision & some Photoshop you can have some awsome images.

What a delightful weekend!! I absolutely loved the Easter Event this year. I really took it easy & scheduled lots of breaks & lots of time for each client. I can't believe all the darling images we got. All the little ones looks so cute & the bunnies were to die for. WPPI in Review

I just got back from a week at WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) in Vegas. It was AWESOME. I took lots and lots of different classes, anything from marketing to lighting to Photoshop to living the life you love. I spent the first 2 full days with Alycia Alvarzez. She is a renound children's photographer out of FL. This class was just okay. I learned lots & lots of great trick, however, these photographers in other parts of the country have NOTHING on UT photographer. I am continually blown away at the work coming from my UT friends. We are so lucky to live in Utah!!

It got even more awkward when Alycia had the pregnant model show her bare belly and had the random class member snug up to her & touch her bare baby belly. I sat down at that point, I couldn't take it anymore.

Look at me catching up on Blogging. My little girl in my belly has really settled down & I'm really only sea sick in the evenings now - YAY!! I still haven't felt her move - boo!! Jeff was my boss at Marriott for the majority of the time I worked there. He rocks as a Boss!! Now Tyler does my hair. If your on the hunt for the perfect hair dresser, I have your gal. I really like my hair to look great, but I don't really like to sit around & think about it. I typically walk in & say "Tyler do your magic". She tries to ask questions... "how short, what color, bla bla". My answer is always the same... "don't ask so many questions ;)" I always walk out with exactly what I want, without even knowing what I wanted in the first place. Yup, that's right!! We're having a baby. I'm 17 weeks & due in July. We found out this morning we are having a girl. Bring on the PINK!! We could not be more excited. I wish someone would have warned me about this pregnancy thing. Come to find out, I'm a wimp. It's been challenging, but a very effective way to loose weight. Who knew?? The thing I miss the most if surfing blogs & reading all your fun posts, computer work makes me Sea Sick!! I have about 450 sessions to blog, and about that many emails I haven't responded to. If you're one of those people - gosh dang I'm sorry!! Just know I'm home, probably on the couch being a wimp, rubbing my belly hoping to feel something move.

I have 3 weddings this month & would love an assistant. I typically don't shoot weddings with an assistant but feel I could use the help. I would need someone for about 2 hours at the Salt Lake Temple. I would need someone to carry my camera bag, assist me with posing, hold my reflector & flash and carry me if I decide I don't want to walk (just kidding). In exchange I'll spend 30 minutes prior to the wedding answering as many ?'s as you can ask. This is a great opportunity for an upcoming photographer who is interested in experiencing a full blown wedding and learning a little about my business.

My first wedding is this Wednesday, Jan 5th.

Sessions are $5 per child

I have the BEST Santa in the world!!

Be sure to bring your little one's list along, I've planned time during each session for some chatting.

All sessions will take place at my studio at 790 East 12400 South, Draper UT. Look for my banner on the white historic home.

How Much:
Session fee is $5 per child

4-4x6s = $10
2-5x7s = $10
8-Wallets = $10
1-8x10 = $10
25 Holiday Cards = $35
CD(5 images) = $25(per child)

{If you do just a group shot with all your children - no individuals, you would purchase a session for each of them. If you chose to purchase a CD, your cost would be $25.}
