A couple days in the land of Logan

I spent a couple of days this week in Logan working for Marriott. What a beautiful place. I didn't have to be at work until 2pm so I spent the morning taking pictures. Here are some of my favorite photos. I also found an antique store and bought a couple of props - a ladder & a cradle. I can't wait to use them. I am heading to Palm Springs tomorrow with some girlfriends from High School. I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight I'm so excited!!

Nelson Fam

I just love the Nelson's. Steve & Julie are great friends of mine from college. Aren't their children darling. We had a great time!! I'm in Logan this week for Marriott, I come home tonight. Then the fun starts, I leave tomorrow for Palm Springs with some friends from High School. The break will be great. I've had 2 weddings and 3 family shoots in 4 days - I'm tired!! My next shoot is Monday in St. George. I'm definitely taking Cathy the Camera with me to Palm Springs, so be sure to check back next week.

Contributor to a great NYC trip.

Isn't this a funny picture, we took this in St. George years ago. Look how short and whispy my hair looks. Stuey now has a big 'ol beard and a buzzed head. Definately a look to turn heads :) Stuart is an old friend of mine, we met in an old ward years ago. He's now in Philly going to school and is here this week visiting. We hung out last night and he reminded me that he should get some credit for that great NYC trip I mentioned in my newsletter. While I was in NYC last year he came into the city and we went to several museums and yes Stu you were a main contributor to the enjoyment of the trip of a lifetime. I apologize for not giving proper credit in my newsletter. I look forward to a fun filled trip to m.i.s.s.i.s.s.i.p.p.i next year!! I only wish you were moving to the Florida Keys or The Bahamas.

The Eyre Gals

I should have paid them to take these pictures. This shoot is the definition of why I love love doing children photography. I had the time of my life. I wonder if the Eyre's would mind if I took them out every Sunday!!

Isn't that shot of all the clothes brilliant? I told Mindy the Mom to bring lots of outfit choices, I love it when Mom's follow directions. Taking this shot was the only rotten thing about this shoot. I was standing in a big ant pile!! By the time I figured it out I had a zillion of the all over my flip flops and up my legs. I totally freaked out!! I think ants are out to get me because when I was younger my brother Taz and I would blow up ant holes with fire crackers. I know that ants will always be my arch enemy!!

The Mickelson Family

I've been busy, no words - just photos. Enjoy

Friday, June 20, 2008

Congrats John & Amy. It was blaze'n hot Friday!! I think my internal temp got up to 140 degrees. We still had such a great time, we laughed and laughed and took zillions of pix. My find for the day is this next shot, I finally found a killer spot to take a full temple shot. I got there early on purpose and walked around stealing ideas from other photographers. Thanks whoever you are!!! :) The little temple worker said there were 53 weddings that day. Isn't that insane. Being in a Singles Ward I didn't realize that many people actually got married, hee hee!!
